Transition (Y11 into Y12)

Moving from Year 11 into Sixth Form is an exciting step, and our summer bridging tasks are designed to help you make a confident start to Year 12.

Whether you are continuing with us from Year 11 or joining us from another school, these activities will help you begin thinking like a Sixth Form student and prepare for the subjects you have chosen to study.

You will find summer bridging tasks for your chosen subjects, alongside activities designed to help you develop the independent study skills, knowledge and confidence you will need for Post 16 study.

The summer is also a great opportunity to explore your interests beyond your chosen subjects. Take some time to research careers, universities, apprenticeships or other pathways that interest you, read around your subjects and start thinking about what you would like to achieve during your time in Sixth Form.
