Residentials

As part of our enrichment programme in the Sixth Form, students are offered the opportunity to attend a four day residential to Paris and a five day residential to New York.

Paris:

Taking place in July of Year 12, students spend four days exploring the city of Paris along with a full day at Disneyland Paris. Below are examples of activities from previous visits:

Explore the city, visiting the iconic Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, MontmatreSpend the day at Disneyland Paris and Disney Adventure World
See the sights of Paris from a boat cruise on the River Seine
Experience Paris after dark seeing the iconic Eiffel Tower sparkle
Take in panoramic views of Paris from Tour Montparnasse

New York:

Taking place in December of Year 13, students spend five days exploring New York City. Below are examples of activities from previous visits:

Meals at landmark restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp and Gayles Broadway Rose
Visit iconic locations including the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
See a fantastic Broadway Show
Visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum; a significant New York landmark
Experience Times Square after dark
Explore Central Park in the heart of Manhattan
Christmas shopping at the Rockefeller Centre and Bryant Park Winter Village
