Pudsey Grammar School
Mount Pleasant Road
Pudsey, Leeds, LS28 7ND
We warmly welcome applicants from other schools, and work hard to ensure they have a smooth transition and a meaningful induction to Pudsey Grammar.
Deciding where to go and what to study at Post 16 is one of the most important decisions and we want to support students in making the right choices. Interviews are offered to help determine the most suitable combination of courses and we also have a ‘Transition Day’ in June to allow all students to meet their teachers and get a taste of what their chosen courses can offer.
Each year 11 student will complete a google form (during tutorial) indicating their initial intention of where they would like to study and potential areas of interest or subjects.
Every student will receive a 1:1 discussion regarding their Post 16 progression. Subsequent to this a provisional place may be awarded depending on exam results.
Students apply by completing the Google Form here - Post-16 External Application Form
Once this form has been submitted a reference request will be made to their current school and the student will be invited in for an interview with a member of the Post 16 team.
Subsequent to this an offer may be made dependent on exam results.
If an offer is made attendance is required on the Transition Day to ensure the correct courses have been chosen.
